"Xavier was diagnosed with brain cancer at 8 months old and by the time he was 1.5 years old he had already gone through a 12 hour brain surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. He is in remission now but did just have a surgery on his brain to clean out scar tissue from his fourth ventricle. Xavier is a very happy, very shy young boy who adores his twin sister Mackenzie. He loves playing and is starting to draw more. Although it's hard to make out what he's drawing, he describes them as living in Africa or Mars. Mackenzie is at a different skill level and draws pictures of them at the park or camping and fills the picture with bright colours. He loves music and will often beat on his drum set while singing Life is a Highway from one of his favourite movie Cars. Although I haven't submitted a picture, I ask you to consider Xavier please. He is a very strong boy who has gone through more in his short life than most people do in their entire life." – Mark (Dad)
